Plainscapes by Latvian composer Peteris Vasks is an ethereal piece of vocalisation without words, offering a new approach to modern music that may change some minds.

Numbers by rising star Shruthi Rajasekar plays with the concept that mathematics weaves through everything we do in our daily lives. Our programme concludes with Widor’s Toccata played by Rufus Frowde on the cathedral’s magnificent organ.
