As it is a Byrd year in 2023 (Byrd's death was in 1623), Brighton Consort is continuing its series of concerts focussing on the works of William Byrd with a programme entirely devoted to the great English genius. Our special guest artist is Hamish Dustagheer, Director of Music at St Bartholomew's Church, Brighton, and he will be playing keyboard music on the unique historical organ housed at the Church of St Michael in Lewes. Our repertoire spans secular and sacred, with large forces and small. Come join us as we celebrate the mastery of the great William Byrd, Renaissance Superman!
