Cardiff Philharmonic Orchestra returns to Llandaff Cathedral for its summer concert. The programme opens with Debussy’s sensuously beautiful Prélude à l'après-midi d'un faune, followed by the mighty sounds of the Cathedral organ in Poulenc’s Organ Concerto. The orchestra is delighted to welcome Llandaff Cathedral organist Stephen Moore as soloist.

Elgar’s majestic Symphony No 1 in A flat completes the programme. Founded on its glorious opening theme, the symphony will sound at its most imposing and moving in the glowing ambience of Llandaff Cathedral.
