Now in their eighth year, the Salomé Quartet are increasingly in demand as one of the UK’s most exciting young string quartets. To open our autumn season at Conway Hall, they are joined by versatile pianist Jâms Coleman, whose recent engagements have included recitals at the BBC Proms, the Concertgebouw (Amsterdam) and an acclaimed recording with Laura van der Heijden for Chandos.

“Coleman’s playing is outstanding, with thrilling variety… exquisite touch… and imagination at the piano” Natasha Loges, BBC Music Magazine
"strikingly intelligent and expressive" The Strad

Founded in the 1880s, our chamber music concert series is the longest running of its kind in Europe. Conway Hall was purpose built in 1929 to host concerts and lectures, and they have continued here until the present day. The ethos of 'affordable classical music for all' still remains.
