A glittering programme with Gypsy roots from soloists of Scottish Chamber Orchestra at Edinburgh Festival Fringe, including music by among others, Haydn, Bartók, Sarasate, Doppler, Falla, Liszt, and Rimsky-Korsakov.

Amazing Spanish flautist André Cebrian became the Scottish Chamber Orchestra's principal flute in 2020 and since then has won the hearts of Scotland’s music audiences. Celebrated for his beauty of tone combined with remarkable virtuosity he offers a special programme all based on gypsy themes from composers from Austria, Russia, Hungary, Spain and many other countries. Enjoy an afternoon of heartrending nostalgic melodies and glittering dances.

The Scottish Chamber Orchestra is, without doubt, one of the finest in the world and we are delighted to present a series of fantastic recitals given by soloists from this famous ensemble. This unique series is exclusive to our Edinburgh Festival Fringe programme and features brilliant players from all sections of the orchestra.
