Music for a Summer's Evening | Chelmsford Singers with Michael Horner Trio

Fancy some summer jazz? Chelmsford Singers, accompanied by the Michael Horner Jazz Trio and ably conducted by James Davy, will be presenting their summer concert at St Andrew's Church, Melbourne Avenue, Chelmsford, CM1 2DT at 7.30pm on Saturday the 1st of July.

Come and enjoy some blue notes with us as we introduce you to a collection of jazz arrangements for folk songs from around the world from jazz maestro Bob Chilcott. We also have a few other surprise items for you but you will have to attend the concert to discover these!

Doors will open at 6.45pm and refreshments will be available from then and during the interval, as well as afterwards.

James Davy is the Organist and Master of the Choristers at Chelmsford Cathedral and has been director of the Chelmsford Singers since 2012. The Chelmsford Singers have been engaged in quality music making since 1927. Michael Horner is a well known jazz pianist who has been performing with his band for many years.
