To close our spring & early summer concert season, prior to July's annual Bach Festival, Music-at-Hill Concert Society are pleased to welcome back our orchestral partners, the Albion Chamber Orchestra, who bring us an all-English programme by six composers, in a concert celebrating our new monarch at the beginning of his reign.

Payment will be taken on the day of the concert (cash or cheque only - no cards or contactless) with admission by programme at the door, though you are welcome to reserve your place in advance via our society website.

You may like to combine this musical engagement with some West End shopping or dining, or a museum/gallery visit during the afternoon. We ourselves can also offer you a prior lunchtime concert at 1.15 pm: to mark the 400th anniversary of the death of both William Byrd and Thomas Weelkes, the Chapel Choir of University College Oxford will perform a programme of choral music by these two primarily Tudor-era composers (free admission, retiring collection).

The evening concert of around an hour's duration will run without an interval, and you are invited to stay for light refreshments afterwards.
