Madeleine Mitchell, Julian Milford and Kirsten Jenson play piano trios

The audience can view the splendid Leighton House before the concert, from 6.30. The concert lasts one hour. A cash bar will serve wine and soft drinks afterwards, and there will be an opportunity to meet the artists.

The sparkling trio by Lili Boulanger is one of her last works, written in 1917, the same year as John Ireland's powerful Trio in one extended movement. This is followed by Brahms's glorious Trio in C major.
