This is a concert illustrating - musically - the differences between Wit and Wisdom. In the first half, we include little known musical jokes and surprising arrangements. For instance, we include an extract from Bach's Coffee Cantata, in Banchieri's Contrapunto Bestiale, we imagine a group of animals and birds singing a madrigal, and for Hayes' On a Puritan drunk, not much imagination is needed!

For the second half, we turn to wisdom, illustrated by various settings of O sapientiae including composers ranging from Hildegard of Bingen to Bob Chilcott and points in between.
