Ludlow English Song Weekend is back, with a full programme of more than ten events and live concerts on 12, 13 and 14 April 2024. We are delighted to be back to present our usual format with main concerts and events in Ludlow Assembly Rooms and our headline Saturday evening concert in the splendour of the cathedral-like St Laurence's Church.

This is one in a series of main recitals over the three days - the full programme can be seen our website Ludlow English Song Weekend. Some events are available only to our Festival Pass holders and are not listed for separate ticket sales.

To mark the centenary of Sir CV Stanford we place the great man in the context of his contemporaries Parry and Vaughan Williams, while celebrating some of this many pupils: Ireland, Howells, Moeran and Clarke. By contrast Derri Joseph Lewis gets out his stethoscope to celebrate a different anniversary – 900 years of St Bartholomew’s Hospital – with his Songs for Barts.
