A story steeped in tragedy, JS Bach is at his finest with this dramatic setting of Jesus’ betrayal and crucifixion, as told in the Gospel of St Matthew.

The Thomas Tallis Society Choir are delighted to be joined by the fabulous orchestra, Britten Sinfonia, for this special performance, conducted by Eamonn Dougan.
