In mid 17th century Italy, Orazio Benevoli, Maestro of the Vatican’s Cappella Giulia, brilliantly invigorated the multi choir style, writing these stunning, flamboyant masses for the finest churches in Rome.

As part of their major Benevoli Project, I Fagiolini brings sixteen superb singers to perform this glorious music one-to-a-part in Marlow, alongside Giacomo Carissimi’s oratorio, Jephte, and works by Claudio Monteverdi.
